Heather - The eBook was awesome. God definitely used it to touch my life. Funny how something as simple as an eBook can speak to us!

We also have Candy Land, a Christmas gift from Nana last year, and has been one of our son's favorites as well. I think not all families are into games. We have decided to restrict TV/video game time and to make games a normal option for family time once both children are a little older to have like a family night. They're both still young (4 and 1) so we're just starting to build a game collection! Fun post.

These are all great ideas! I got one of the aforementioned photo frames for my birthday (in August) and it's not loaded yet.

Another option is to scan/take photos, load them onto your hard drive and then link the folder to your desktop and it will scroll through the photos keeping them ever in front of you! JOY!

I saw a great article in Family Fun the other day, and they suggested putting all of the photo/scanned pictures of your kids' artwork on one of those photo frames. Then the kids have a constantly changing (and easily updated) display of their art, and you save on storage space (assuming you then send some of the art to the grandmas and other art to the trash or to long-term storage in a portfolio). I LOVE this idea and I am asking for one of those frames for Christmas. The kids are going to love it.

Is it possible these people make a cigarette case size. I don't smoke and hate to call it a cigarette case, but I like the larger size to hold credit cards and money. Do they take custom orders too?

I've tried baby powder for oil stains on garments. I've never heard of the cornstarch but I'm going to file that one away for the future. I've also heard about peanut butter and ice for the gum. I've used baby wipes (if you can believe that) on red wine stains on a white carpet and it worked like a charm (what's in that stuff anyway) . Any tricks for pet stains? The stuff in the can and bottle don't really work. Anyway, enjoyed you post. Hope you're feeling much better!
